Ewan to to receive OBE in New Years Honours List

It has been announced today that Ewan McGregor is to receive an OBE from the Queen for his achievements in acting and charity. Amongst a list that highlights the achievements of British athletes from the Olympic and Paralympic games, Ewan will receive a the award alongside Kate Bush, artist Tracey Emin, former ‘Strictly’ judge Arlene Phillips, illustrator Quentin Blake, fashion designer Stella McCartney, former England cricketer Mark Ramprakash and violinist Nicola Benedetti.
