Hello everyone – I know, three updates this evening, I’m on a bit of a roll! I was meant to post about this a week or so ago, but I completely forgot aboout it – the Video Archive is finally online! I have nearly 50 videos there already (including trailers for pretty much all of Ewan’s films), and am busy saving and making clips to add – please comment if there’s anything in particular you would like to see added!
For now, one of my alltime favourite clips of Ewan – dressed as a tomato for the Film4 campaign. Enjoy!
Hello everyone! I’m so glad that everyone likes the new layout – thank you to everyone who commented, it really made my day! It’s also brought about a whole load of site motivation, so here’s the first few updates.
Image-wise, I am also starting to go through the older galleries and replacing lots of the stills with HQ versions, and uploading additional bits like posters. First up was Big Fish, in which I replaced the majority of the stills with HQ versions, and added 2 missing pictures. I also added two very vintage photoshoots to the gallery – unfortunately the one is tagged, but it’s better than nothing!
Finally, I have started gathering up videos for the upcoming Video Vault! Are there any clips, interviews or trailers etc that you want to see? Let me know in the comments – and I think that’s it for today!
Welcome to the new and improved Ewan McGregor Online! I felt that with the sudden rush of Ewan-related news that the site needed a long-overdue new look, and so here we are! I absolutely love this shoot and am so pleased with how the layout turned out. I have been very busy fixing broken links and tweaking bits and pieces, but if I have missed anything please let me know in the comments!
I am going to focus on the site’s content in the next few weeks – I have intergrated the Career section back into the main site, and plan on creating more pages again (I have also just updated/added to the current pages online), and I also do finally plan to start on the much-fabled Media and Video sections of the site! So please stay tuned, and I hope you enjoy the new look!
After a week’s hard work, the gallery has moved location and lots of new photos! There’s still plenty to add, but for starters I have added captures from Ewan’s 2000 short film Anno Domini, 1995′s Blue Juice, and all the DVD extras from Long Way Round and Long Way Down.
I’m still in the process of re-adding all the Public Appearance photos, but everything else has been re-added to make sure you check it all out Enjoy!

As we all know, March 31 is Ewan’s 40th birthday, and so I felt it was necessary that we here at Ewan McGregor Online did something to celebrate! As it’s probably a bit too late in the day to donate money or forward something to Ewan’s publicists, I thought that maybe the fans could write in letters, fanart or pictures etc and send them here to be featured in a birthday section of the site?

At last, I have got myself into gear and started working on some actual content for Ewan Online! I have plenty of screen captures still to come (including the rest of Lipstick on Your Collar, The Long Way Down, Anno Domini, Desserts, Kavanagh QC, Tales from the Crypt and Karaoke), but I felt that some reading material was needed for the site. So, I have created a Careers section of the site, giving you in-depth information regarding each of Ewan’s roles. It’s a time-consuming process, but tonight I have created the first five pages ~ Moulin Rouge, Velvet Goldmine, The Island, Trainspotting and I Love You Phillip Morris. This shall be a steady work-in-progress, but I hope you shall enjoy reading up!
I’ve just put up another new layout here at Ewan McGregor Online, what does everyone think? I liked the other one, but this is one of my favourite shoots of Ewan, and it’s going to mark the start of a huge site revamp, including a new gallery (though that will take a LONG time), a media archive and finally some content!
